We were asked to supply some furniture and
lighting to the refurbishment of the Honley School Library. The refurbishment was designed and overseen by One 17 Architects & Interior Designers who created a space
which is vibrant and promotes social interaction via a large communal work bench in the centre of the room with more informal work bays to the side.

One 17, based in West Yorkshire, specialise in high end residential and conservation projects, but also like to get involved with local school projects. They know well designed work environments can improve commercial output and likewise this applies to educational environments. Influenced by their northern location you can see One17’s passion for combining materials. The products selected were the Magis Steelwood Stool by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec and the Bell ceramic pendant by Mark Braun both examples of designs which pay homage to the materials natural expression.
