DescriptionDesigned by Arne Jacobsen for the canteen at Novo Nordisk, the international healthcare company, Ant has since become one of the most prominent design icons in Fritz Hansen collection. As with the Series 7, Ant is steam bent in one piece out of 9 layers of veneer. These layers are lined with Indian cotton making the chair both flexible and durable. The chair is available in 9 natural wood colours and in two lacquered ash colours, where the grain texture is still visible. The base is chrome steel. |
