The Fritz Hansen Orient Pendant Light

The Fritz Hansen Orient Pendant Light was original designed in 1963 by well-respected modernist designer Jo Hammerborg. Fritz Hansen has worked closely with to the Hammerborg family to relaunch the Orient Pendant Light. This Fritz Hansen Suspense Pendant Light has an organic shape which blends beautifully with the deep, vibrant copper glow and the rosewood top. The Orient Pendant Light has 24 narrow, vertical slots at the top which allow light to filter through. The Orient Pendant Light can be fitted with a low energy light source and emits a soft, pleasant light without any glare. Available in two sizes and we do offer this in a variety of colours to suit all design taste and colour schemes.

Simple and timeless, the Orient Pendant Light is one of our firm favorites and was the first piece that came to mind when we decided to take a closer look at the Fritz Hansen Lighting brand!  It is very much in style, as we are seeing many Suspense Pendants in the marketplace right now.  If you are wanting to keep up with this style, Fritz Hansen Lighting is most certainly how to do so!

Fritz Hansen Caravaggio Pendant Light

Caravaggio lighting have gained the status of design icons. Designed by Cecilie Manz, Caravaggio upscales a timeless silhouette with a fresh, modern expression.  This perfectly captures on of the reasons why Fritz Hansen remains one of the top designers of lighting in their industry.  Bringing art to life and making it accessible and available to every home.  Again, with a lot of Fritz Hansen Lighting, we can see this too is a Fritz Hansen Suspense Pendant.

The Caravaggio Pendant Light is a series of metal pendants brought to you by Fritz Hansen. The suspension technology is masculine in construction, creating the right counterbalance to the shade's feminine lines. The depth of the shade prevents glare, no matter how high the Caravaggio Pendant Light is hung. The Caravaggio Pendant Light also features an opening at the top, which casts light upwards illuminating the suspension and cord and adding to the rooms ambient light. This Caravaggio Pendant Light is named after the Italian Baroque painter Caravaggio, who is known for his dramatic paintings with large contrasts between light and shadow.
