Gubi is a Danish producer of design founded by Gubi and Lisbeth Olsen in 1967. Although Danish, Gubi has a reputation for being a truly international brand, over the years they have gathered a portfolio of licensed products from prominent 20th century designers including Greta Magnusson Grossman (Sweden) Mathieu Matégot (Hungary) and Gio Ponti (Italy). As a result the furniture from Gubi while still staying true to danish design principles of quality and functionality also has glamour and elegance.
In addition to the classic furniture Gubi also works with new designers, notably GamFratesi Studio who developed the popular Beetle chair and TS table range.
