The iconic Butterfly chair was designed in 1938 by architects Bonet, Kurchan and Ferrari (BKF) and based on a foldable chair made from wood produced in late 19th century. The BKF butterfly chair was produced throughout the 50's by Knoll and became immensely popular, unfortunately they were unable to license the design and ceased production in late 50's. We have selected this design by Lars Kjerstadius due to its quality and comfort. The Lars Kjerstadius butterfly chair is made of Italian leather and Swedish steel.
