Gubi 62 Sideboard

Gubi 62 Sideboard

Designer Greta M. Grossman (1906-1999) one of the few female designers in the male dominated mid-century design industry. Her works were exhibited at MoMA in New York and The National Museum in Stockholm and she was among the first to introduce Scandinavian modern style to California's rapidly growing modernist design scene.
The 62 Dresser series is a timeless example of architects Greta Magnusson Grossman’s forward thinking minimalism. Designed in 1952 it's a paired back design utilising luxury materials. The slim metal legs are finished in with Grossmans trademark ball shaped feet which give the 62 Sideboard its light appearance. Made from American black walnut veneer and black gloss details the series includes, dressers in two sizes, a sideboard and desk, which look equally at home whether you decide to use them in the dining room, bedroom or even hall. The 62 Sideboard has three drawers and is perfect for use in dining, or living areas where the additional cabinet can be used as drinks cabinet.
