Able to withstand wind and weather, the upholstery fabrics are Oeko-Tex certified and extremely colour and lightfast as well as water and dirt-repellent and even mildew-resistant. The cushion dries quickly because the foam has an open-cell structure that allows both water and air to pass through.

The teak used for the frame of the Virkelyst lounge chair is untreated, so will patinate over time turning a beautiful silvery grey. If you wish to preserve or intensify the original honey-golden colour, use a suitable furniture oil on a regular basis. The wood is resistant to everyday wind and weather with or without treatment due to the high content of natural oils.
