Able to withstand wind and weather, the upholstery fabrics are Oeko-Tex certified and extremely colour and lightfast as well as water and dirt-repellent and even mildew-resistant. The cushion dries quickly because the foam has an open-cell structure that allows both water and air to pass through.

The teak used for the frame of the Virkelyst two seater sofa is untreated, so will patinate over time turning a beautiful silvery grey. If you wish to preserve or intensify the original honey-golden colour, use a suitable furniture oil on a regular basis. The wood is resistant to everyday wind and weather with or without treatment due to the high content of natural oils.
